"No More Naughty Boards" - A Tribute to Mr Wong Kiow of JSS

Err.. I've nvr been taught by him b4. Or have I? Cant remember. I had a flurry of Maths teachers in Sec 2, imagine changing at least 3 (I can remember 3) teachers for one subject in a yr. No wonder my maths is borderline case.

He was a stern discipline master, and a fierce maths teacher. Who could forget his roaring voice from the 1st floor thundering all the way to the 3rd floor, where we were, for making a ruckus during class breaks. And those who had their Maths exercise books torn by him and had to redo assignments. And those who got whipped by him for misbehavior. Even me, the law-abiding (like real) student is scared of him.

I always remember his "naughty boards" (mispronounciation of notice boards).

Mr Wong Kiow passed away today.

I received the sms in the afternoon, so not sure wat time and wat causes.

And to think that he jus retired last yr. After 40 great yrs of service in JSS.

Too sudden. Too sudden.
